Skiing at the Präbichl mountain
The Präbichl is a family-friendly, modern skiing area in HerzBergLand which is located between 1,000-1,900 m above sea level. A beautiful place in styria for skiing.
Rössel (1855 m)
Short Tour with an amazing view of the summit above Präbichl
Difficulty: II - III
Season: autumn, winter and spring
Overall duration: 2 hours
Characteristics:
Short track above the skiing area on Präbichl. The view from the summit on the Erzberg and major summits of the Eisenerzer Alps and the Hochschwab massif is amazing. The tour is not extremely difficult but sometimes the snow is blown away on the last part to the summit and therefore the skiers have to go by foot.
Tour description:
From ”Präbichler Hof“, ascend along the skiing slope. At the top station of the “Grübl” chair lift go in a southwestern direction to the Rösselhals and from there continue on the right hand side (in a northern direction) to the summit.
Descend as described above.
