Probably the most popular tour in Johnsbach valley

Characteristics:
The shorter but highly frequented tour on the Leobner leads from the end of the Johnsbach valley at the Gscheidegger farmstead, across the Grössinger Alm to the Leobner Törl. The panoramic view is magnificent after a few steps and keeps getting better and better. The area is rather simple except for the partially tight ditch in the so called Sautrog and the short summit flank.
Tour description:
From the parking space above the Gscheidegger farmstead walk along the ditch until you reach Grössinger Alm (1319 m). From there, cross the meadows in a southern direction to the Sautrog, a partially tight ditch, before you reach Leobner Törl. At the Törl keep on going in a western direction to a beautiful kar ground before you reach the summit.

Tip:
At the end of the Johnsbach valley, the tour on the Gscheideggkogel is recommended if there’s powder snow.
