Cross Country skiing in HerzBergLand
The cross-country net of the Krumpen cross-country ski run is located at the edge of the Eisenerzer Alps and provides special services in a breathtaking environment.

Characteristics:
The Kragelschinken offers north facing descents (very steep parts in the forest) and an impressive view of the two other popular skiing summits of the Eisenerzer Alps. A delicacy if there’s powdersnow and for those who don’t know it yet: the Eisenerzer Ramsau is well known for its snow conditions. The Kragelschinken is easy to combine with Plöschkogel or with Wildfeld and Stadelstein.
Tour description :
Starting at the parking space go in a southern direction to the Lasitzengraben (passing the hunting lodge Lasitzen) until you reach the end of the valley. From there on you can choose between 2 options:
- Cross the creek on the left hand side and follow the marked path through the extremely steep forest to the Zwiegraben hut and further along to the Teicheneggalm and the saddle above. Continue across the eastern ridge to the summit.
- Follow the forest road on the right hand side and take abbreviation short cut to the Zwiegraben hut and further along to Teicheneggalm. Continue as described above.
Descent:
From the summit to the Teicheneggalm and further along forest roads to the Lasitzengraben.
