Skiing at the Präbichl mountain
The Präbichl is a family-friendly, modern skiing area in HerzBergLand which is located between 1,000-1,900 m above sea level. A beautiful place in styria for skiing.
Gscheideggkogel (1788 m)
Easy powder tour with view on the Gesäuse
Difficulty: I-II
Season: autumn, winter and spring
Overall duration: 3.5 hours
Characteristics:
The ski tour to the Gscheideggkogel is relatively easy and an alternative for insecure conditions. The route is well marked. The Gscheideggkogel tour is highly recommended if there’s powder snow.
Tour description:
From the parking space above the Gscheidegger farmstead, walk along the valley until you reach the junction Zosseggalm. Before reaching Zosseggalm cross the clearing on the right hand side and keep on walking along the forest road until you reach Ebneralm. Follow the ski marks to the Übereck and further to the summit.
Descent:
as described above or descend along the lightly wooded southern ridge to Gscheideggkogel and in a western direction to Grössingeralm and back to Gscheidegger.
