Local producers and hosts have founded the initiative “Genussreich” to form a common representation of interest and to increase the awareness of inhabitants and guests for local products. Furthermore they intend to preserve the culinary heritage of the region. On the following pages we would like to introduce visitors to the members of the initiative and give them a chance to get to know more about the “Genussreich”.
Let’s talk about food and the process of preparing food. Where does it come from, who are the producers and how is it prepared.
Two years after the “Genussreich” was founded and approximately one year after the first brochure, the second issue was published. A lot of producers joined the initiative in the meantime and therefore the range of offerings was broadened. Ostrich eggs, spelt products, herbs, geese or lamb are just a few examples for products you wouldn't expect to find here. Browse our brochure and find out for yourself which products you would like to taste.
Some local workshops also support the initiative and offer a wide variety of products from regional handicrafts to works at a truly top-class level.
